Andhra Pradesh to Set up the Biggest Call Center Run by Any State GovtAndhra Pradesh government is planning to set up the biggest call center run by any state government in the country. This is to receive independent feedback from beneficiaries of various government schemes. It will be set up in CM N Chandrababu Naidu’s Command Control Centre (CCC) in Vijayawada.

The call center will initially employ 500 and will cost 30 Crore to the state exchequer annually. The call center is planned unique in the country with a capacity of 98,000 outbound and 25,000 inbound calls daily. Telugu Desam Party has completed half of its term and it is busy evaluating its position for the upcoming elections.

Usually, TDP conducts periodic surveys but then this call center will almost do that on a day to day basis. To begin with, the call center will record the responses of the beneficiaries of more than 25 schemes run by 46 departments to further calibrate them. Beneficiaries can also register complaints about the scheme.
