Should Naidu take BJP's approval for running TDPIt seems the partner of BJP in Andhra Pradesh is TDP lost its coolness. The state government decided to register protest against Central government for not releasing the funds as expected. AP is suffering from severe fund crunch and sits on revenue deficit of Rs.24,194 crs for FY 2014-15 as per Cag report.

AP state cabinet met on Saturday at CM camp office expressed its displeasure over poor allocations from central government. Centre is allocating meagre funds to the capital construction and Polavaram project. “Central government is failed to release funds to strained state to bridge revenue deficit which is vowed to do” Cabinet opined. The cabinet also decided to request central government to allot 13,223.66 hectares of forest lands to the AP Capital Regional Development Authority.

For this provision, cabinet decided to pay Rs.1,357 crs to centre instead of allotting equivalent area of land elsewhere. Chandra Babu is most likely to write a letter to the centre citing the injustice and requesting for release of more funds.
