Cash-Strapped Andhra Pradesh is trying its best to improve its revenues. The state revenues are accelerating and ahead of the targets till the end of the third quarter of 2017-19 fiscal. AP has registered 13.84% Growth Rate bettering the previous year growth rate of 12.5%
By the end of this fiscal, the revenue was 38721 Crore while the last year, it is 34012 Crore. The total target for this fiscal is 56850 Crore and the target is 68% achieved until now. The state is slowly started improving its tax revenues after it has started with revenue deficit.
The Capital District of Krishna is the highest in Revenue Collection followed by Vishakapatnam and East Godavari. Vizianagaram is the lowest in Revenue Collection. Excise Department followed by Stamps and Revenue Department are the best performers.
