Andhra Pradesh Registers its First Coronavirus CaseAndhra Pradesh had registered its first Coronavirus case. A man from Nellore who returned from Italy was confirmed positive. He got back to Nellore after he developed a dry cough. He was admitted to the Isolation Ward of Government General Hospital, Nellore.

He was confirmed Positive in SVIMS, Tirupati Virology Lab. Officials say that his condition is stable and the vitals are normal. Five persons said to have got in contact with the infected person and they are quarantined. Their samples will be tested for the presence of Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, a total of 74 positive cases were detected in India so far. Out of which, 17 were of foreign nationals. In Telangana, the sole case registered so far is said to be recovering. His most recent tests show no presence of the virus and the person is expected to be discharged in a day or two.

Officials should be on their toes with Andhra Pradesh registered the first case.
