Andhra Pradesh ranked 4th in top states for fresh investments!
According to a survey by New Delhi-based think tank National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER), Andhra Pradesh is ranked Top four in top states for fresh investments. The ranking is given on the basis of five pillars—labour, infrastructure, economic climate, political stability and governance, and perception of a good business climate.

NCAER reportedly conducted the survey across 20 states and the Union territory of Delhi. Gujarat, Delhi and Tamil Nadu are in the Top Three positions. Other Telugu State, Telangana is not in the Top 10 List. It is known that the department of industrial policy and promotion (DIPP) in September last year ranked Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Jharkhand as the top three performers.

Andhra Pradesh government is keen on bringing a new Land Acquisition Act to bring more ease in doing business in the state. Andhra Pradesh’s ranking is expected to increase further, if it materializes. It may be reminded that the Modi government has found it difficult to make legislative headway and finally withdrew it.
