The media speculations of Railway Zone announcement by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Yoga day once again failed to materialize. Suresh Prabhu in a media interview today, once again sang the old song of consultations going on with the stake holders, meaning that the process will never end unless BJP feels it will politically benefit the party at some point.
When asked if Railway Zone is more of a political issue than technical, the Railway Minister threw the blame on Congress once again saying that the Union government back then left the work incomplete and they are doing it as per the procedure. Prabhu and his party leaders should realize that indecisiveness confined Congress to opposition and gave BJP a record majority.
Suresh Prabhu is the first Railway Minister to be representing from Andhra Pradesh. TDP had sacrificed one seat from their quota of Rajya Sabha MPs to accommodate him. The state is looking at him to deliver some thing at this time of crisis. If he happen to deliver the decades old dream of Special Railway Zone, people will remember him forever.
