Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission released the Schedule for the Local Body Elections in Andhra Pradesh. Elections will happen in three phases. MPTC and ZPTC Elections will happen in the first phase. 660 ZPTCs and 9639 MPTC will go for the elections. In the Second Phase, Panchayat Elections will happen.
And in the third phase, Municipal Elections will happen. The entire exercise will be finished by March 29th. The State Government had postponed the SSC Examinations to facilitate Election Duty for the School Staff. The Model Code of Conduct will come into effect immediately.
