Jagan's Latest Strategy: If Cant Satisfy the People, Confuse ThemWhen the Supreme Court is seriously contemplating to fast track the trial in the Criminal Cases of People’s Representatives, Jagan Government has withdrawn prosecution against a minister, two MPs, and two MLAs in four cases setting a bad precedent.

The Government dropped the Criminal cases against civil supplies minister Kodali Nani, Rajampet MP PV Mithun Reddy, Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, Rayachoti MLA G Srikanth Reddy, and Allagadda legislator G Brijendra Reddy in Kadapa, Kurnool, East Godavari, and Krishna districts.

Nani’s case dates back to 2015 for assaulting a public servant and on charges of wrongful restraint and unlawful assembly. The cases against Midhun Reddy and Srikanth Reddy pertains to trespassing. The Criminal Case against Avinash Reddy is for criminal intimidation and for violating orders of a public servant and wrongful restraint.

Skirting the charges in Criminal Cases set a wrong precedent and do not show the moral standing of the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government in a good light.
