The AP Government Employees Association (APGEA) has received a Show-cause notice from the state government on its recent meeting with Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan.
It is said that notices are given based on the news in the media and newspapers.
The government asked the association why they met the Governor when there were alternative ways to approach the government on salaries and other financial issues. It is against the rules of ROSA to complain together with the Governor, the Government opined.
It has been ordered to tell within a week why the recognition of the community should not be canceled.
Leaders under the leadership of Union President Suryanarayana, AP Government Employees recently met the Governor demanding a law to ensure timely payment of salaries to government employees. They complained that the government was committing violations in the matter of financial benefits to be paid to the employees.
This has embarrassed the Government because it is the first time in the history of India that employees complained to the Governor against Government.
