13 out of the 27 owners of Buildings on Krishna River Banks who got notices from CRDA replied. The owners including Lingamaneni Ramesh Babu, the owner of the house in which Chandrababu is residing stated that their buildings are not illegal and they have all the statutory permissions.
The remaining Building owners are also expected to reply in a day or two. CRDA officials are taken back by their claims of having all the permissions. When VGTM-VUDA existed, Panchayatis used to give permissions for the buildings in 300 square kilometers.
If these buildings have permissions from the Panchayat and No Objection Certificate from River Conservation Department and these buildings will be legal. Even the building owners will be legally right. If that is the case, it will be a huge embarrassment for the State Government.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is adamant about getting Chandrababu Naidu to vacate the Vundavalli Residence and demolish it.
