The Prime Minister’s Office has summoned Andhra Pradesh Government officials for a key meeting in Delhi this morning. Prime Minister’s Additional Principal Secretary, Nrupendra Mishra sat with Andhra Pradesh Officials. YSR Congress MP Vijaya Sai Reddy and Jagan’s Principal Advisor, Ajeya Kallem Reddy also joined the officials.
They are reportedly discussing crucial issues like Reviewing of the PPAs and Polavaram’s Re-Tendering. The Union Government has strictly opposed the State Government’s decision to review the PPAs and the Pre-Closure of Polavaram Contracts but the Chief Minister did not heed to the instructions.
The other day, Andhra Pradesh High Court clashed the Pre-Closure and Re-Tenders Notification of Polavaram Hydel Project keeping the YSR Congress Government in a Fix. With the danger of the National Project slipping into Legal Tangles, the Central Government has stepped in.
It may be known to our readers that Vijaya Sai Reddy has claimed that all their controversial decisions have the blessings of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah while the State BJP Leaders are opposing the same decisions tooth and nail.
