Andhra Pradesh Gets Around 3000 Crore Center Help This YearCentral Government has released 369 Crore as the Revenue Deficit of Andhra Pradesh according to the recommendations of 14th Finance Commission. Along with AP, other Revenue deficit states like Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura have also got these funds.

Center had released 2984.91 Crore of these Nine States this month. Central Government released 2953.33 Crore for Andhra Pradesh during April to November for 2017-18 fiscal. This will come as a bit of help for Andhra Pradesh which is reeling under financial stress.

On the other side, Several other funds are pending from the Center to the state government. Polavaram Bills and even bills of several Center Sponsored Schemes are also pending adding to the financial gloom of the state. Center usually reimburses these funds to the states but is delaying them beyond a reasonable time.
