Telugu States have once again put in a Tremendous Show in the Ease of Doing Business Rankings announced by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) of Ministry of Commerce and Industry in association with the World Bank.
Both the Telugu States shared the join honors of the First Rank Last year. But this year, Andhra Pradesh is marginally ahead (0.09%) of Telangana to take the First Spot while Telangana is at Second. Nine States were put under Top Achievers Category this year with the Score of Above 95% while Six States were put under Achievers Category (90-95%).
Three States are in Fast Movers (80-90%) and the rest of the States and Union Territories are in the Aspirers Category (Below 80%). Except for Delhi, all the Union Territories have recorded less than 30%. The Leadership of both the Telugu states are to be commended.
