Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu toured Velagapudi a short while ago and saw the construction activity at the interim secretariat site. Naidu after his visit spoke to the media and said the works which slowed down for the past one week due to rains, have picked up speed and the buildings are expected to be ready by the end of this week.
He also clarified that the employees shift will completely happen by August-end and requested them to try to adjust even though there are some minor issues. The Chief Minister also revealed the government’s plan to develop the interim secretariat as e-office on par with corporate offices.
Further to instil confidence in employees, Naidu announced that the upcoming winter session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly will happen in Velagapudi itself. The Winter session of the assembly will happen in December. The interim secretariat building is going to complete before 5 months itself which is also a record for the construction companies themselves.
