The Plans of Andhra Pradesh’s New Assembly Building are being readied. Earlier the building which will be made as Iconic Building was planned in 160 acres but now it is downsized to 100 acres. The building will have Assembly in one corner and Council in another.
On the third corner, it will have a conference hall which will be built on the lines of the Central Hall in Parliament. In the fourth corner, there will be a bank, post office, and a canteen exclusively for the use of the legislators and the staff.
In the top floor of the Assembly, there will be a museum. The designs will be finalized very soon and the construction will begin. Andhra Pradesh government is planning to complete the construction of the Assembly Complex before the 2019 elections.
