Andhra Balayya Interested in TelanganaNandamuri Balakrishna is equally loved by fans from both the Telugu States. Interestingly, the actor has a great interest in Telangana culture despite having his roots from Andhra Pradesh. Iterating the same, filmmaker Charan Lakkakula of Saptagiri LLB fame has opened up on doing a movie with Balakrishna having Telangana rebellion milieu.

In an interview, the filmmaker opened about his meet and bond with Balayya Babu. He says, “I met Balakrishna four year back, even before I became a director. He then asked me to come up with a script on ‘Telangana Sayudha Poratam’. I then did extensive research through browsing and spending time in libraries”.

“I also gathered information from books and made the script ready. However, some disturbances cropped up following which it has been put aside .But even now when I happen to meet Balakrishna, he interacts well and shows the same enthusiasm to work in the offing,” says the filmmaker. Interestingly, Balakrishna in the past played a brief role as Komaram Bheem in Parama Veera Chakra directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. The role was similar to Telangana Sayudha Poratam.

Meanwhile, Jr NTR is reprising the same iconic role Komaram Bheem in RRR. Looks like Nandamuri heroes have some connection with Telangana rebellious heroes.
