In the recent times, it is the second time that the topic on megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s candidature as the next President of the country came up in the political circles. First it was mentioned by BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha and of late by Amar Singh in a recent interview.
But Amitabh Bachcham humbly says that he isn’t worthy of such a high and honorable post. He always maintained that he isn’t interested in politics even though he had been elected an MP from Allahabad, but later quit politics without completing his tenure.
Amitabh made clear that he didn’t get any such offer from anyone. We don’t know if he would be ready if he gets an offer officially to contest for the post of President. But things would be soon sorted out as it’s asking time for action. Next year we will have a new President.
