Amid Jai Sriram Chants, Ram Lalla Returns to His KingdomThe Long-Cherished Dream of Crores of Hindus is finally happening. Ram Lalla is returning to his Birth Place, Ayodhya after a long-drawn communal and legal battle. After the Supreme Court ruled Ayodhya verdict in favor of Hindus, the Bhoomi Puja was held this morning.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the Ground Breaking Ceremony. A 40-kg silver brick was laid to mark the symbolic start of a grand temple at the spot that many believe is the birthplace of Lord Ram. BJP Veterans like LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi who have participated in the movement however were kept away from the event due to the prevailing COVID-19 conditions.

Interestingly, Narendra Modi, way back in 1990, was one of the organizers of the nationwide campaign for a temple at the site where the 16th-century Babri mosque once stood. He vowed not to return to Ayodhya until the dispute is resolved and he is here after 29 years.

The Bhavya Mandir construction is expected to be completed in three and a half years, but the pandemic could push it back by another 6-8 months. Leading Construction Major, L&T is going to be the contractor to execute the Temple Construction.
