TDP BJP Seat Sharing GVMC Elections, Vizag Mayor Seat Fight TDP BJP Parties, BJP Demands Vizag Mayor Seat TDP, JP Demands Visakhapatnam Mayor Seat Situations between TDP and BJP are slowly reaching normal ahead of the Local Elections towards the end of the year. But then it is said that things will not be smooth between both the parties as the talks of seat sharing were initiated. Even though, the actual picture can only emerge after the release of notification, BJP Leaders have already started sending the feelers.

The local leaders are very ambitious in getting more seats in the name of NAMO wave. For an instance, Vishakapatnam BJP leaders are keen on having the Mayor post to their party since Vishakapatnam has a BJP MP. They say only in such case they will allow TDP candidate for the MLC elections which will happen soon for Vishakapatnam Graduates constituency.

The demands from the other areas of the state are equally ambitious. On the other side, TDP is not at all in favour of leaving so many seats to BJP which do not have a proper base in the state. Both the parties are said to be in talks with former Anakapalli MP and former Mayor, Sabbam Hari offering him Mayor Post. Sabbam has got a clean image due to his active participation in Samayikya Andhra movement.

He also played a crucial role in the loss of YS Vijayamma in Vishakapatnam Parliament by withdrawing from the contest in the last minute. TDP is hoping that his entry will strengthen the party there. Sabbam is from Velama community which will play a decisive role in GVMC elections. TDP cadre is of the opinion that it will be better to contest local elections independently like in the case of Telangana as BJP will be more of a liability in local elections.
