10000 employees to Amaravati by AugustAndhra Pradesh Government is planning to have Krishna Pushkaralu on a large scale later this year. Old Amaravati and new capital Amaravati will be the main attractions for the tourist coming to the 12 days event. The government is constructing a big ghat on the banks of Krishna river adjacent to the 125-feet height Dhyana Buddha at old Amaravati.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam is planning to construct Balaji temple in Rayapudi, one of the villages of Capital area, on the banks of Krishna river. Besides this, replicas of the all famous temples would be installed for Pushkaralu at Uddandarayunipalem, where the foundation for the capital took place.

The government is keen on promoting old and new Amaravati for Krishna Pushakaralu which would start on August 12 and conclude on August 23. The government is banking on the funds which will be dolled out by union government under Heritage City Augmentation and Development Yojana (HRIDAY). The works will begin in four months time.
