Pi-Amaravati launched in Mangalagiri is now one of the most advanced data centers in the world, spread over 5 Lakh square feet. The government has allotted 10 acres of land for the lavish project with an investment of 600 crores. The construction that facilitates 5000 rack storage and uses open stack virtualization framework to deliver the best-in-class computing, storage, and networking experience, has been built in a record time of 15 months.

The facility would provide employment to about 300 people directly and for 2,000 people indirectly, says Naidu. The center is a package of fortunes to the city being South India’s first tier-4 certified data center. Telangana too has announced the similar data center, but Amaravati did it already.
