prakash javadekar Amaravati gets all environmental clearancesYSR Congress MP YV Subba Reddy raised a question in the parliament if Amaravati is given all the environmental clearances and if National Green Tribunal imposed an restrictions on the Capital Construction. Union Environment Minister, Prakash Javadekar replied to that saying that National Green Tribunal asked the state government not to level the ground with out necessary clearances.

Javadekar also confirmed State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) had given all the necessary clearances to Amaravati construction with 89 conditions. These conditions are regarding Water Environment, Air Environment, Solid Wastes Management, Rehabilitation, Crisis management, environment management etc.

The Minister also confirmed that the state government had applied for the environmental clearances in September last year and SEIAA gave the necessary permissions on October 9th. The Minister also asserted that CRDA is following all the conditions imposed by SEIAA for the Capital Construction.
