Amaravati Future Now in the Hands of the Governor YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led Andhra Pradesh Government has sent the controversial – Andhra Pradesh Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of All Regions Bill and the APCRDA Repeal Bil to the Governor this morning for his assent.

If these bills have got the assent of the Governor, it will pave way for the three capitals in Andhra Pradesh. These bills were first placed in the council which had referred it to the Select Committee but the Government did not adhere to it and passed them once again in the Assembly.

In the second instance of placing the bills in the council, the upper house did not discuss the bills and the question of passing did not arise. The Government is now saying that the bills are deemed to be passed since they are passed twice by the Assembly. It has to be seen if the Governor will reject them citing that due process was not followed by not referring to the Select Committee

It will all boil down to the Political Decision of the BJP from here.
