Amaravathi Construction begin date announced in Assembly by minister NarayanaAndhra Pradesh Municipal Minister Narayana today in Assembly announced that the construction of Amaravathi will begin in June. Narayana had announced that the Central government had given 850 Crore for Amaravathi and the state government had spent 304.2 Crore towards annuity, pensions, One time Loan waiver and skill development in the Capital Region.

Narayana also announced that the final notification of the Land Pooling Scheme will be given this month end. The government is keen on to complete the entire process by May and the construction of the buildings and infrastructure from June this year. It has to be seen how Center will assist the construction by then.

The Union Budget for 2016-17 have no allocation for Amaravathi Construction. The Center kept telling that they will allocate the funds once the capital DPR will be complete. On the other side, the construction of the Temporary Secretariat will be completed by June and administration will begin from there by then.
