Amravati, the capital of the bifurcated Andhra Pradesh, is under development, specifically a 6.84 sq km area where many start-ups will be built. Koh Lin Ji, group director of Building and Construction Authority of Singapore made some interesting comments about Amaravati during IGBC 2016 conference.
Koh Lin Ji, the same development group is working on the development of two Chinese cities, stating that they “have also given master plans for development of two cities in China”, but the group director Koh Lin Ji gave the assurance that, “Amaravati will be the best plan we were able to work out, out of 3 master plans.”
Koh Lin Ji said Two companies from Singapore already submitted their bids and he is aware that other companies too expressed their interest to build the new city. But he assured “since the master plan has been given by us if we get a chance to build it, we will deliver the best modern city.” said.
