Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu finally decided on the design of Amaravati Assembly Building. The design done by Norman Fosters and Partners is voted the best. Now all eyes are on the execution of the project and making it ready for 2019 elections which will have a bearing on TDP’s fortunes in the election.
The magnificent structure if ready by then will help TDP win the election but it is not easy to complete the architectural marvel. Also, the funds’ crunch is haunting the state government for the construction. World Bank sitting on the loan of 5000 Crore towards the Capital Construction will not serve the purpose either.
Chandrababu has stunned everyone by completing the Interim Secretariat in record time and it is time for him to pull off another wonder. Naidu who is on a holiday to the Maldives with his family will decide the date of calling the tenders after his return.
