Allu Arjun‘s father-in-law, Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy is one of the frontrunners to be TRS candidate for the Nagarjunasagar by-election. He owns several engineering colleges and even contested in 2014 elections from Ibrahimpatnam.
He lost then and has become silent politically. Chandrasekhar Reddy with his financial power is looking to bag this seat. However, CM KCR is in two minds as the deceased MLA Nomula Narasimhaiah’s son, Bharat is also keen to contest.
If Bharat is fielded, he will have the backing of communist supporters, as well as Narasimhaiah, who had been in CPI (M) for several years before jumping into the TRS. Fielding the wife of the deceased MLA in Dubbaka by-election did not work for TRS. So, KCR is in two minds.
With no Janasena in fray, if Chandrasekhar Reddy contests, he may have the support of the Mega fans.
