The works in Amaravati came to a grinding halt after YS Jagan Mohan Reddy came to Power. Mangalagiri MLA Alla Rama Krishna Reddy who was rumored to be the next CRDA Chairman made some interesting comments on it and said that the government did not stop Amaravati works.

“I do not know that Amaravati works were stopped. Contractors should answer why they have stopped the works. They should approach the government if they have any doubts,” Alla added. The MLA, however, said that the excess tenders are against the rules.

However, these comments of Alla look very silly says the experts. If the contractors stopped the works themselves, the Government should call them or issue the notices for stalling the works. Blaming the Contractors for Amaravati is outright silly.

The Mangalagiri MLA also said that the Chief Minister will continue as the chairman of the CRDA. Alla Ramakrishna Reddy said he has no information that CRDA chairman post is declared to him.
