All Set for Polling in Telangana

All-Set-for-Polling-in-TelanganaEverything is set for the Polling in Telangana. Electoral Officials have reached their respective Polling Stations with the EVMs, VVPAT Machines, and other Election Material. For the first time in the history of Telangana, VVPAT Machines are going to be used. It will help you to check for whom you cast the vote.

On the other side, a massive security cover is being deployed at all polling stations. Additional forces are arranged in sensitive areas. CCTVs and Web Casting is going to be used extensively to monitor such stations. Election Commission will be continuously monitoring the election process and will take immediate redressal steps if necessary.

1821 Candidates are in the fray in 119 constituencies of the state. 2,80,64,684 voters are eligible to vote. 55,329 EVMs, 39,763 Control Units, 42,751 VVPAT Machines are going to be used. 1,50,023 Polling Officials are deployed. Along with 30000 Local Police, 18860 Police from the neighbouring states and Central Forces are going to be used for the smooth conduct of elections.
