Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy’s ruckus at Vishakapatnam Airport the other day has garnered the attention of the nation. National Media even got hold the CCTV footage in which the MP is seen pushing an Indigo Airlines Employees and is trying to break a Printer in a fit of anger.
IndiGo, Air India, SpiceJet and Vistara have banned him from their flights following this. Last October, the Anantapur lawmaker was caught on camera creating a ruckus at the Vijayawada airport after he missed his flight, again because he had shown up well after the check-in counter had closed.
This indiscipline has become a big headache for Telugu Desam Party which was known for its discipline. It was just the last week, JC’s son-in-law, Deepak Reddy was arrested in a multi-crore land scam in Hyderabad. National Media is also accusing Civil Aviation Minister, Ashok Gajapathi Raju of trying to save his party MP.
Sources say that Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu sought an explanation from JC Diwakar Reddy and the CM himself will look into the matter. This issue will bring a lot of disrepute to Telugu Desam Party across the nation if not properly addressed.
