Air India Forcefully Lifts Ban of Shiv Sena MP Ravindra GaikwadThe airline who held a ban on Shiv Sena MP, Ravindra Gaikwad named as a Goon MP, have lifted the ban upon ordered by the aviation ministry on Friday. Air India called out a ban on the MP as he on 23rd March abused an Air India staff with his sandal who was trying to do his duty.

The act of Air India was also supported by other 6 airlines who have also banned the MP for his unethical act. The MP and the party have threatened the Airlines who have canceled his ticket about 7 times after the incident in the span of the two-week ban and yet the Air India stood to the ground. Then the MP wrote a letter on Thursday to the Aviation Ministry conveying his regret for whatever for the unfortunate incident on the plane and booked a ticket again for his commute on 17th April.

Air India canceled that ticket too on Friday, asking him to pay an unconditional apology to the staff that he hit 25 times with a sandal. Air India reported that the ban was revoked being advised by the Aviation Ministry taking Gaikwad’s apology into consideration. So the no-fly listed MP can fly again. Other airlines may too lift the ban taking the lead of Air India.
