Vijaya Sai Reddy says 25 districts in andhra pradeshIt is confirmed that Andhra Pradesh will become the first state in the country to have three capitals. “Amaravati may be the Legislative Capital, Kurnool the Judicial Capital, and Vishakapatnam the Executive Capital. Going by the outlook of the three capitals, Vishakapatnam is going to get the major cut.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sai Reddy speaking at Jagan’s Birthday Celebrations in Vishakapatnam this morning, went on to say that the State Government is mooting the idea of making 25 districts. The existing thirteen districts will be reorganized into Twenty Five which means one Parliamentary Constituency will be one district.

In Telangana, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao reorganized the districts in his last term but Chandrababu Naidu did not do that in Andhra Pradesh as the exercise involves a huge financial burden. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Government is mooting the idea since it is expected to give the much-needed fillip to the Real-Estate.

The finances of Andhra Pradesh are at an all-time low and the economic slowdown is also showing its effect. Meanwhile, various welfare schemes being rolled out need massive financial resources. The Government is banking big time on the Real-Estate boom to increase the revenues.
