BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao suddenly became vocal about the Kapu community and Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga. It all started with Kapu associations doing felicitations for GVL for asking questions in the Parliament about Kapu reservations.
After that, he is continuously speaking about Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga in Parliament as if he is craving more felicitations. In the meanwhile, we have seen former minister Kanna Lakshmi Narayana leave the party and make severe allegations about Somu Veerraju and GVL.
Kanna is the only leader who enjoys a considerable vote bank in AP BJP besides Purandeshwari. He is shunted out of the party and now, it looks like it is the turn of Purandeshwari.
GVL called for a press meet and questioned “Why should everything in the state be named only after two people? When you name two districts after YSR and NTR, why not one district after Ranga. He did not work only for the Kapu community but for the entire poor and downtrodden. Why the politics in the state should be confined to two parties and two families?”.
Purandeshwari came strongly on these comments. Quoting the video of GVL, Purandeshwari wrote, “ఒకరు తెలుగు జాతికి గుర్తింపుని తీసుకొని వచ్చి, పేదలకు నిజమైన సంక్షేమం– 2 రూపాయలకే కిలో బియ్యం, పక్కా గృహాలు, జనతా వస్త్రాలు, మహిళా విశ్వవిద్యాలయం వంటివీ ప్రజలకు అందిస్తే , మరో కరు ఫీజు రీయింబర్స్మెంట్, 108 ఉచిత అంబులెన్సు సేవలు,ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ అందించారు. ఆ ఇద్దరు కాదు, ఆ మహానుభావులు”.
GVL may have made the demand even without invoking NTR and YSR. At least, NTR is unnecessary because it is Jagan’s rule now and anything about NTR is irrelevant.
It is only to irk Purandeshwari. Also when Government of India is releasing a 100 Rupees Silver Coin with NT Ramarao’s picture. These comments will only ensure the goodwill is lost.
After driving Kanna out of the party, it looks like Purandeshwari is the next target.
