In the initial days of Jagan’s Government, there was a news in Reteurs that South Korean automobile major, Kia Motors is contemplating to move out of Andhra Pradesh due to the bad policies of the Jagan Government.
We have seen a YCP MP openly threatening a Kia Motors Executive at an event. Later the Government backtracked after severe Public criticism.
And then, we have seen Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy releasing a letter saying that Kia Motors came to Andhra Pradesh due to a letter written by Late YSR several years ago.
It was an attempt to rob the credit of Chandrababu Naidu. And now, Vijayasai Reddy says he is proud of Kia’s achievements.
“Proud to note that ‘made in Andhra Pradesh’ Kia Carens has won the Indian Car of the Year award 2023. We are proud of the Kia facility in Anantapur which was started with production of 57,719 in 2019 and touched 2.27 lakh in 2021! Kia makes in AP and exports to the world,” Vijaysai Reddy tweeted.
From trying to push Kia out of Andhra Pradesh to taking the credit of Kia’s achievements, YSR Congress has come a long way.
