BJP has played its part in dethroning Chandrababu Naidu. TDP is now confined to just 23 MLA and 3 MP Seats. The party is looking to engulf TDP and is aggressively encouraging defections from the Cycle Party. BJP leaders believe that the saffron party will be in the Second Position if not First by 2024.
With their foothold in Andhra Pradesh, BJP seems to be trying its luck in Telangana by targeting KCR. The party received the right fillip after it won four MP seats in the recent General Elections. The other day, a TRS MLA’s Brother attacked a forest official and that incident has reached Nationwide trends in Social Media.
Union Environment Minister has responded to that and a few BJP MPs have also condemned it. This is the first time since 2014 the National Leaders of BJP has attacked KCR. PM Modi also omitted KCR in a committee of Chief Ministers which will recommend steps for “Transformation of Indian Agriculture”.
This is despite the fact that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao’s Rythu Bandhu scheme was replicated by the center and several other states. This only indicates that BJP is no longer looking at KCR as a friend. Will They Target Jagan After KCR?
