After Cabinet, Telangana To Wait for A Complete BudgetInteresting things are happening in Telangana after that historic mandate to Telangana Rashtra Samiti. We already know that Telangana is yet to have a full-fledged cabinet even after 40 days after the results. And then, Telangana will not even have a complete budget, the Chief Minister has informed.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has decided to go for the Vote on Account Budget and will have the complete budget only after the Parliament Elections. KCR had decided for this Option since the Central Government will go for a vote on account Budget due to the upcoming Elections.

If any government is going to face elections in less than one year, they will not go for a complete budget and will instead put up a Vote on Account Budget until the elections. KCR has absolutely no need of this option but he opted to have so as to wait for the complete budget at the Center to have a full understanding of the incomes from the Center.

This is a decision never taken before anywhere in India. The rest of the four states – Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram which have gone to elections along with Telangana are going to have a complete budget. So, it is an interesting decision by KCR.
