A Day After-Janatha- Curfew, People Defy LockdownA day after Janatha Curfew in Telangana, Things are back to bare normal. People are seen rushing out of the houses and maintaining no protocols of social distancing and Lockdown. Things are more or less the same in Andhra Pradesh and the rest of the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and warned the people on this occasion. “Many people are still not taking the lockdown seriously. Please save yourself, save your family, follow the instructions seriously. I request the state governments to get the rules and laws followed,” he tweeted.

Telangana Police have decided to crackdown to enforce the Lockdown. “People have to complete their essential activity during day time as all stores will be shut from 7 pm to 6 am. Police check posts will check if those coming out have a valid reason or else vehicle will be seized, criminal cases booked,” the DGP warned.

Petrol bunks, grocery stores will also remain closed from 7 pm to 6 am every day during Lockdown. People will not be allowed on the roads after 7 PM except for Medical Emergencies. Two people including the driver will be allowed to buy essentials within two to three km of their residence during the day-time.

Meanwhile, the prices of the essentials have hit the roofs in Hyderabad. Tomatoes were selling at a whopping 100 Rupees Per Kg. Barely one week ago, they are being sold at 5 Rupees Per Kg. The rest of the vegetables were priced the same or were not available due to black-marketing.
