The heavily armed security personnel, land mine proof cars and a residence guarded like a fortress are just not enough for Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhara Rao who is a Z+ security protectee. The Chief Minister has got a bullet proof bathroom in his upcoming palatial new residence cum camp office to foolproof his security.
The Chief Minister’s Bath Room has been fitted with bulletproof glass ventilators and windows. Besides the bathroom, two bedrooms – the Chief Minister’s and that of his son, Telangana Minister KTR’s too have been fitted with bulletproof glass. The CM will be stepping into his new residence cum camp office which has come up on a nine-acre plot in Begumpet on 24th of this month.
It has costed 50 Crore to the State Exchequer. The building is comprising three blocks with a built-up area totaling one lakh square feet and with state-of-the-art facilities. The Roads and Buildings (R&B) department took up the construction. The Telangana Chief Minister had decided on this new construction as he believes that the present camp office is not Vaastu compliant. He is even reluctant to move into the existing camp office soon after he assumed charge because of Vaastu defects in the building.
