KCR, KCR Promise Illegal Constructions Hyderabad, KCR Credibility Illegal Constructions Hyderabad, KCR Risk Illegal Constructions HyderabadTelangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhara Rao angrily announced that his government will be razing down about 28000 illegal constructions taken up encroaching the nullahs, lakes and drains which led to the flash floods in the city over the last week. The Chief Minister also announced the plan of giving 10000 Reward to those who informs about such structures.

But Political experts say that all these announcements look like the Chief Minister is trying to play to the galleries to pacify the anger in this situations. Illegal constructions will be more than 28000 or even double. The government need not reward anyone for informing about them. If every government official took to streets, they can find innumerable of them everywhere.

If the government still wants to reward, it would make many as overnight millionaires. And the second thing is about this razing down of the illegal structures. Just before the GHMC elections, the government brought up Land Regularization and Building Regularization Schemes to make those illegal structures as legal paying penalty. Weaker sections have got that for free as well.

So, regularizing illegal structures and now talking about razing them down will come under a dual talk by the Chief Minister. Several Big Realtors who are in various parties previously joined the TRS party before the GHMC elections and are the chief funding sources for the party in the last elections. It is a tough road ahead for KCR at least in this aspect but if can walk the talk, then future generations will definitely appreciate.
