The Mass Form 7 Applications filed by YSR Congress Party in the name of Bogus Votes are turning to be all fake. Around Eight Lakh Form-7 applications were filed in just 10 days and the Election Commission claims to have completed the verification of 6.5 Lakh Applications till date.
In the 6.5 Lakh Applications verified so far, it was found that about 95% of them are Fake. Only the rest of the 5% applications were deemed genuine and those votes were removed. Precisely, around 77400 votes were removed from 125 constituencies of the State, EC said.
The Election Commission is confident about finishing the entire applications verification in two to three days. State Election Commissioner, Gopalakrishna Diwedi also confirmed that it is not wrong to file Form 7 Applications but in case they are filed with malicious intent, they are likely to be prosecuted.
