50 Crore Liquor Consumption per Day in Andhra PradeshAndhra Pradesh Government has brought new liquor policy in July and there is a drastic improvement in the state finances. 1574.93 Crore worth Liquor was sold only in the month of July with as much as 50 Crore per day being sold in the state.

When compared to July the last year, the income has increased by 285.87 Crore. The Sale of Beer has increased by 30.91% when compared to July Last Year. Vishakapatnam, East Godavari, and Krishna Districts are the Top Liquor Consuming States in July.

Only these three districts contributed to 42.06% of the total income. The government had cracked whip on the Belt Shops across the state. Only 5% of the total 50000 Belt Shops operate in the state until now. The improvement is despite the fact some shops did not begin due to protests in those areas.
