The snake gang which rapes women threatening them with snakes and later blackmailing them by shooting their nude videos had created a sensation in Hyderabad. Eight of the gang members were arrested last month and the police is in action to nab others too. Over 400 cops were deployed in the Shaheen Nagar area in Cyberabad on the outskirts of the city. They conducted door to door search to nab the criminal and said to have arrest five more of the gang.
It is said that search is on to find huge repository of nude videos the gang filmed to blackmail the victim girls. After the arrest of Faisal Dayani, the main accused in the gang, the Police reportedly received as many as five complaints from the victims of the gang who earlier were silenced by the gang from approaching the police. While the police are not revealing the total strength of the gang, they say the search will be on to pin down the entire gang and wipe out them from Hyderabad.
