The old-age pension scheme is intended to help the elderly population who are financially weak. But here’s the story of a YCP leader who owns 22 acres but still wants to get pension for his mother.
Going into the story, Markapuram Secretariat, Prakasham district hosted a tensed feud earlier today. A YCP leader names Surreddy Satyanarayana Reddy created ruckus in the secretariat as he was furious over his mother not getting pension.
Satyanarayana Reddy started abusing the secretariat employees and started to throw away the chairs inside the office. He is a relative of local YCP MLA Kanduru Nagarjuna Reddy so the staff was scared to stop him, say reports.
The video of Reddy creating a scene in the secretariat has surfaced on the internet and it has drawn the attention of netizens.
It was later stated by the higher officials that Satyanarayana’s family had 22 acres of land in total and that’s why the pension had to be cut off.
