December is fast approaching and the 2014 general elections notification is round the corner (Sometime in January). The Politics in AP is fuming as always like in the last few years with the Telangana issue. December will bring in a clear indication of how the candidate pulse will be and how the elections are going to happen.
Congress Party:
The fortunes of Congress Party is almost smashed to death in the Seema Andhra region with the Telangana association. The party is all set to receive dismal figures from the region in the coming elections which is evident from the public reactions from every nook and corner of the state. Many sitting MLAs and MPs wants to scale the wall and try their luck in other parties. We can gauge the extent of damage in December. On the other side, the party seem to have pinned high hopes on the Telangana region. A lot will depend on the way they handle the bifurcation issue here. However, a complete shift in favour of Congress from TRS is not likely even if Telangana is a reality before 2014 elections.
Telugu Desam Party:
The party managed to make significant impact on voters post the Panchayati polls. Even though, their unclear stand on Telangana issue is hard for people in Seema Andhra to digest, the development card during their regime will work in their favour. We hear that there will be a significant joinings in to the party in December from the Seema Andhra region. The party is still clueless as far as Telangana region is concerned and is hoping other parties to commit mistakes.
YSR Congress Party:
The party expected Jagan to make wonders after releasing from jail but it seems to be not happening. TDP seem to be successful in exposing the nexus between Jagan and Congress and common public seem to be believing it. The Samayikya Andhra stand did not make YSRCP the lone saviour of the Seema Andhra region but closed the door completely in Telangana region. There is a big disappointment in cadre and leaders and Jagan needs to address it immediately lest alarm bells will be ringing loud.
Telangana Rashtra Samiti:
The only comfortable party in the state now. Only thing for them to do is to maintain the Telangana spirit running till elections. They should also make sure Congress do not get any credit even if the bifurcation bill passes in Parliament.
Bharatiya Janata Party:
The Telangana credit seem to be going totally in TRS or Congress way. Its better if they announce an alliance with TDP and project CBN and Modi with Development cards.
Communists:
Totally in disarray. Banking heavily on Alliances for the moment.
Lok Satta:
Should look for a potential partner before going to 2014 polls. Lest their little vote share will decimate.
