Representatives of 19 Companies which supply ancillary parts to Kia Motors have met the officials of the state the other day. These companies are bringing additional 4000 Crore investments to the area and will create employment opportunities to 8500 People.
They have discussed their land requirements and the location of their plants with the officials. They will be created by the Cabinet very soon. The state government had already identified 160 acres more for these units.
Andhra Pradesh government already allotted 600 acres land to Kia Motors plant. This 160 acre is just beside the allotted land. Experts feel that this project is a game-changer for the drought prone Anantapur district and all that the government has to do is to impart necessary skill development programs to train the locals.
