In yet another Terrorist Operation, Seventeen Soldiers were martyred trying to defend the country. In the early hours of today, a group of heavily armed terrorists targeted the rear administrative base of a unit at Uri, Kashmir. The armed forces manages to eliminate four terrorists in the counter action and combing operation is in progress.
Forces believe that all terrorists may have been eliminated. If the terrorists were able to enter or capture the administrative base. A large strength of troops of units turning over their duty would have been in risk. During the operation, the tents and temporary shelters where the troops were camping caught fire and resulted in heavy casualties.
The leaders who are trying to build bridges with Pakistan in the name of Peace Process should identify the threat of the neighbor and start building walls or the country has to lose more soldiers. Back then Vajpayee’s Bus diplomacy resulted in Kargil and now Modi’s wedding diplomacy resulted in these type of terror operations. We salute the supreme sacrifice of the 17 soldiers who were martyred in the Operation.
