Andhra Pradesh Government has finalized Muhurath for the beginning of Amaravati Assembly and High Court construction in Amaravati. The construction of the government complex will begin with these constructions on September 30th on the eve of Dussehra.
High Court construction will begin from October 15th. Amaravati Government Complex construction will take place in 900 acres while the Law City will come up in 465 Acres. The entire construction will yield One Crore Square Feet Work Space.
According to the estimates of CRDA, the construction will cost a whopping 15000 to 16000 Crore. After the foundation is laid, the target is to complete the entire Government Complex in 18 months i.e., just before the 2019 elections.
80% of the necessary funds are already pooled, CRDA sources say. The government is of the opinion that if the construction of the Government Complex is complete, the ruling party will be able to win the next election quite easily. Hence the 18 months target is important.
