Another horrifying incident of rape has come up; an underage girl from West Bengal was allegedly raped for 2 years by more than 100 people. The girl, a16 year old, was lured to Pune on the pretext of a job but instead suffered a sickening fate.
Apparently, the girl was forced into prostitution and was beaten when she refused to do it. It was reported that among the men who raped her were policemen too. The girl somehow escaped from her captors and went to Delhi where she filed a police complaint. The investigation started once the case was transferred to the Pune police department.
It was revealed that other victims of similar allegations have also been discovered and some of the accused have been caught and arrested. The Pune police are currently working on exposing this racket and take strict actions.
