14 pages leeson on kcrCome this new academic year, school students in Telangana will be singing praises of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in the class rooms. After the state formation, the state government had revised the syllabus of the state incorporating Telangana history and culture.

The state government recently ratified the revised syllabus and it is said that there is a 14 Pages lesson about KCR and his role in Telangana agitation. However the stories of those who lent lives for the agitation did not get so much of space comparatively.

The new textbooks stressed on using Telangana slang, proverbs etc. The state government had deployed national and state level education experts on these books preparation. However the state government hold the idea of introducing Telangana dialect in the books for this year as the experts committee could not come to a conclusion as local dialects differ from each of the 10 districts in the state. The dialect is distinctly different from North and South Telangana and a change now may bring new headaches for the government.
