Income Tax Department had revealed that 96 People across the country had evaded 3896.53 Crore Tax to the country and in that 1045.92 Crore Tax Evasion is from both the Telugu States. Uday M. Acharya from Mumbai evaded 779.04 Crore Tax to the department.
But then, he does not have minimum assets to seize and so the department is stranded unsure of further action. Totem Infrastructure from Hyderabad is second in the list with more than 400 Crore Tax Evasion. The Company directors are on a run.
The majority of the Tax Evaders and Tax Evading Companies are not reachable to the department. Income Tax Department had recently decided to Name and Shame the Tax Evaders who are involved in huge amounts of Tax Evasion.
